Position: Cenovus Senior Engineer For Sagd Projects

Join Cenovus as a Senior Engineer focused on SAGD projects. Spearhead reservoir design and optimize strategies for enhanced production techniques and well performance. As a critical member of the Thermal Development team, your role will involve advancing SAGD wells and pads. Your solid foundation in reservoir engineering will facilitate collaboration with geoscientists to implement data-driven decision-making. You'll be vital in maximizing recovery while actively mitigating risks throughout the projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and scope SAGD pads and wells from conception
Collaborate on reservoir forecasts and effective development plans
Analyze production data to enhance accuracy in predictions
Optimize well placements and completion strategies
Facilitate cross-functional communications for project clarity

Requirements

P.Eng. designation in valuable standing with APEGA
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Reservoir Engineering
Over 8 years of experience in reservoir or production engineering
Proficiency in numerical reservoir simulation tools
Solid grasp of SAGD processing methodologies
