Our client is seeking a Piping Engineer with 10 to 15 years of engineering expertise, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector, preferably SAGD. This role emphasizes expertise in piping stress analysis, design reviews, and engineering team leadership. Candidates should be familiar with industry standards and possess the P. Eng certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct piping stress analysis and generate final reports
• Provide stress markups for design teams on pipe routing
• Select and design pipe supports efficiently
• Review and approve piping drawings and as-builts
• Prepare data sheets for specialty piping items
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• P. Eng certification for document authentication
• 10-15+ years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in CAESAR II, Auto Pipe for analysis
• Knowledge of ASME codes and pressure equipment regulations
