Experienced Electrical Engineer - Oil & Gas Focus

We're on the hunt for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in oil and gas projects. This role primarily takes place in an office with occasional field visits to sites.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10-15 years of experience in electrical design. A proven track record in the oil and gas industry is essential, particularly with specific systems like MCCs and VFDs. You will work on design deliverables, compliance checks, and field engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain single-line diagrams

• Support procurement through material requisitions

• Conduct load flow studies using ETAP

• Ensure compliance with client specifications

• Aid in troubleshooting during construction phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 10 years of electrical design experience

• Experience in the oil and gas sector is a must

• P.Eng. designation required

• Strong decision-making abilities
