The successful candidate will have over 12 years of experience in oil and gas engineering, effectively bridging technical evaluations and financial insights. You will assess reservoir performance to inform lending risk and investment decisions while enhancing internal models for reserve-based evaluations. This role collaborates closely with credit and risk management teams, linking engineering analyses with commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate engineering findings into credit insights and risk strategies
• Support lending facilities structure through asset assessments
• Monitor portfolios for production and cost variation indicators
• Participate in syndicated lending processes and asset evaluations
• Provide expert insights during high-stakes discussions
Requirements:
• 12+ years in oil and gas engineering
• Licensed engineer in Canada
• University degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in capital markets beneficial
• Expertise in reserves evaluation and decline curve analysis
