As a Petroleum Engineer, your role is crucial in linking technical insights with capital market operations. You will contribute to credit adjudication, evaluate asset quality, and support transaction execution. Your engineering analysis will inform borrowing base recommendations and risk mitigation strategies, required for informed lending decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate engineering analysis into credit insights
• Support structuring of lending facilities with asset evaluations
• Provide ongoing portfolio surveillance and risk indicators
• Collaborate with risk management and credit teams
• Enhance internal models for reserve-based lending
Requirements:
• Minimum 12 years in oil and gas engineering
• Licensed engineer in Canada
• Degree in Engineering or Geology
• Experience in corporate banking preferred
• Strong knowledge of reserve evaluation methodologies
