At Hatch, we are seeking a skilled Lead Piping Designer with a minimum of 10 years of focused piping design experience in an industrial setting. This role involves leading the development of piping designs, creating 3D models, and ensuring project deliverables like Process Flow Diagrams and isometric drawings are met. You will engage in multi-discipline design reviews and manage a small team of junior designers, driving excellence in our project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead piping design and equipment layout development

• Guide junior piping designers and manage workload

• Create and update 3D piping models in CAD

• Prepare and deliver essential project documents

• Review vendor packages and produce quality checks

Requirements:

• Graduate from a Piping Design Technology Program

• At least 10 years of design experience in industry

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D advised

• Prior experience in midstream or oil sands preferred

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
