WSP, a leader in integrated energy solutions, is seeking an Electrical and Controls Designer to join its Process & Energy Electrical Group. This position is open in any WSP office across Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, or the Atlantic provinces. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, review P&IDs, generate precise electrical drawings, and support power generation projects while driving climate adaptation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review P&IDs to create accurate electrical drawings

• Generate complete electrical drawing packages for projects

• Evaluate RFQs and purchase orders for compliance

• Mark up vendor drawings to ensure project specifications

• Provide technical guidance to electrical contractors

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in electrical engineering technology

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design

• Power generation project experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D CADD is an asset

• Solutions-focused mindset in multidisciplinary settings
