The successful candidate will have a minimum bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering and at least 4-5 years of relevant experience. Essential skills include strong communication and presentation abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and expertise in regional building codes. A professional engineering license or eligibility to be licensed in Alberta is required, along with a willingness to travel for investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and report on causes of structural failures
• Conduct interviews with witnesses and officials
• Provide structural design for renovations
• Develop detailed working drawings
• Lead projects from initiation to completion
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
• 4–5 years of structural engineering experience
• Professional engineering license or ability to obtain it
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Class G driver’s license
