Become integral to Amazon's data center projects as a Regional Mechanical Engineer. Utilize your engineering skills to asses and optimize facilities while working with various stakeholders.
In this role, you will join AWS to utilize your experience in mechanical engineering within mission-critical facilities. Collaborate with business development, engineering, and vendor teams to conduct site evaluations and uplift colocation services. Your leadership will guide critical design standards while ensuring optimal facility performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess AWS colocation standards on site
• Analyze risk and infrastructure fit-for-use
• Influence design specifications aligned with business needs
• Investigate and resolve root-cause issues
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years in engineering mission critical facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with new technology designs
• Understanding of building and construction regulations
Lead the way in optimizing AWS's data center infrastructure and services.
