HVAC Mechanical Engineer

In this position, you'll serve as the Mechanical Discipline Lead for various projects. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to produce comprehensive HVAC designs, including ductwork layouts and piping. You will also perform load calculations to determine equipment requirements while ensuring compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design for substation projects

• Create detailed HVAC designs for new builds and retrofits

• Conduct load calculations and psychrometric analyses

• Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards

• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and suppliers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• P.Eng. designation or ability to register with EGBC

• 3-5 years in HVAC design and mechanical engineering

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
