The City of Chestermere seeks a full-time Manager, Engineering, reporting directly to the Director of Community Growth and Infrastructure. This senior leadership role requires a proactive individual to mentor teams and support strategic initiatives in development engineering and asset management. With a focus on infrastructure delivery, you will utilize your extensive experience to ensure impactful community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering teams across Development and Capital Projects

• Oversee engineering plans, approvals, and infrastructure designs

• Manage capital infrastructure projects from planning to close-out

• Develop departmental budgets and ensure compliance with regulations

• Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering

• Active P.Eng. registration with APEGA

• Minimum 10 years in municipal engineering roles

• 5 years in a senior supervisory capacity

• Proficiency with asset management and GIS systems

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to drive successful municipal projects and community impact.
