Barr is on the lookout for a senior engineer to join their Calgary team, focusing on challenges related to rivers, flood control, and stormwater systems. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project execution. Utilizing your strong technical background, you will lead project teams and mentor junior engineers, making a substantial impact on both client relations and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of water systems
• Develop technical documentation and project specifications
• Manage and coordinate project timelines and updates
• Guide and mentor junior engineering team members
• Liaise with clients and public officials for project success
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in civil or environmental engineering
• Over 10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Eligibility for P.Eng. registration with APEGA
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software
• Current driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
