Senior Electrical Engineer Oil & Gas

Become a key player as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the oil and gas sector. This office-based role includes occasional site visits and focuses on high-voltage power distribution systems.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 10-15 years of expertise, particularly within the oil and gas industry, to join our team. You will engage in electrical design, technical evaluations, and compliance with industry standards.

Your role will involve developing RFQs, preparing purchase orders, and conducting load flow studies, ensuring that all engineering adheres to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify electrical design deliverables and calculations

• Develop RFQ for high-voltage equipment and systems

• Conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals

• Create single-line diagrams for various power systems

• Perform electrical load calculations for equipment sizing
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• 10-15 years of electrical engineering experience

• Preferred experience in the oil and gas sector

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
