Responsibilities   Lead the development of piping design and equipment layouts on small to medium sized projects.
Ability to lead and guide a small team of junior to intermediate piping designers
Development of 3D piping models in an integrated CAD environment including pipe supports.
Preparation of and updates to project deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&) and pipe isometric drawings
General Arrangement drawings of piping layouts
Ability to independently layout piping and select mechanical equipment
Checking of all piping related deliverables
Reviewing and commenting on vendor packages as they relate to the piping discipline
Participating in multi-discipline design reviews and coordinating with those disciplines

Education and Experience   Must be a graduate from a Piping Design Technology Program at an accredited College or equivalent education
Minimum 10 years’ experience focused on piping design in an industrial setting

Experience with the AutoCAD Plant 3D required.

Experience with Cad Worx, Smart Plant 3D and the Bentley suite of Open Plant tools is an asset.

Experience with Piping Design in the midstream, pipeline and oil sands industries preferred
