Junior Geotechnical Engineer

Thurber is seeking a Junior Geotechnical or Geological Engineer to contribute to diverse projects involving infrastructure, natural hazards, and complex geotechnical challenges. With a post-graduate degree (Master’s preferred) and up to 5 years of experience, you’ll receive mentorship from senior engineers while fine-tuning technical skills. This opportunity is also open to new graduates eager to learn in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate various geotechnical projects and client needs
• Oversee field inspections and material testing
• Execute geotechnical assessments and drilling
• Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation
• Prepare technical reports and manage project scopes
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree in relevant engineering discipline
• Up to 5 years of experience, new grads welcome
• Comfortable driving in construction environments
• Proficiency in English required
• Eligible for APEGA and/or EGBC membership
