Position: Junior Building Condition Assessor Role
Begin your career with BGIS as a Junior Building Condition Assessor, serving Western Canada. This role is designed for those eager to engage in asset condition evaluations within a professional team.

As a Building Condition Assessor I, you will leverage technical standards to assess building components, which will assist in project management and engineering design career paths. Positions are available in British Columbia and Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform building evaluations at client properties

• Identify and assess conditions of building components

• Generate reports using BGIS proprietary software

• Provide repair and replacement recommendations

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• University or college diploma in a relevant field

• 1-3 years of experience preferred but not mandatory

• Knowledge of ASTM practice for assessments

• Strong communication and Excel skills

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and travel 50-70%
