Position: Civil Engineer at Mott MacDonald

In this role, you will engage in civil engineering design for roadways, utility systems, and municipal infrastructure. Overseeing projects from concept through construction, you will ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders and lead junior staff in their design efforts, carrying out responsibilities vital for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on design development

• Prepare civil engineering designs for roads and utilities

• Develop grading, servicing, and stormwater management plans

• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior engineering staff

• Coordinate with agencies for project permitting and approvals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering;
Master’s preferred

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada

• 5-10 years relevant design experience

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other tools
