Advance your career with CIMA+ as a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in overhead transmission lines. In this full-time role, you will lead engineering design and analysis for high-complexity projects in Canada.
CIMA+ is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in designing overhead lines ranging from 60kV to 735kV.
Your role will involve mentorship, project documentation, and design execution while managing scope and timelines. You will collaborate with the Transmission and Distribution Lines leadership team to ensure safety and quality of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design teams on overhead transmission projects
• Design facilities including towers and foundations
• Prepare documentation like reports and proposals
• Provide technical assistance and conduct field reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and review designs
Requirements:
• University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum of fifteen years' experience
• Registration with a Canadian engineering association
• Proficient in PLS-CADD and CAD systems
• Construction field work experience required
