This position is pivotal, focusing on engineering system architecture, performance, and integration across CAD, PLM, and manufacturing. The CAD Engineering Lead will define roadmaps, enforce consistency across models, and protect data integrity throughout product life cycles. Collaborating with Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain teams will ensure engineering systems propel growth, not hinder it.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own architecture and performance of CAD and PDM/PLM platforms
• Define and enforce CAD modeling standards and data governance
• Ensure product data flow from design to service seamlessly
• Improve engineering productivity through automation and training
• Lead PLM upgrades and initiate cloud CAD adoption
Requirements:
• 8–12+ years in engineering systems or CAD/PLM roles
• Hands-on with major platforms like Siemens Teamcenter
• Strong understanding of BOM and ERP integration
• Experience in automation using Python or similar
• Proven track record in leading system implementations
