Stratolaunch is seeking a level II, Sr-, or Staff-level Avionics Engineer in Mojave, CA. You will play a pivotal role in developing critical flight safety systems and collaborating on technical documentation with range safety personnel. Key skills include avionics design, risk management, and aerospace integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement FTS and AFSS testing initiatives
• Collaborate with range safety for documentation approval
• Support design and procurement of AFSS Hardware
• Aid in flight test planning for hypersonic missions
• Manage development of technical requirements for FTS and AFSS
Requirements:
• Experience with FTS/AFSS and aerospace systems integration
• Background in electrical engineering or launch vehicle integration
• Proven risk management and test planning experience
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Eligible for a DoW security clearance
