As a Bridge Design Engineer, you will perform essential tasks such as bridge component design and external plan reviews.
Your role will not only ensure compliance with CPKC standards but also foster a culture of excellence and safety within the structures department. Collaborate with colleagues to support the railway network's efficient movement and ensure thorough field inspections accompany your bridge designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review external consultants’ bridge design plans
• Ensure designs meet CPKC standards consistently
• Draft bridge designs using AutoCAD software
• Conduct field inspections for design validation
• Maintain and update standard drawings and specifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) licensure
• Experience in AutoCAD drafting
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights
