Stantec invites candidates for the Telecom Engineer-in-Training position within its Vancouver and Calgary offices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing robust telecommunications systems, working closely with diverse teams to ensure project timelines and standards are met. Your engineering acumen will be vital in delivering high-quality solutions for utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design telecom networks ensuring security and reliability
• Prepare construction documentation and packages
• Develop QoS and traffic engineering strategies
• Perform lab validation and testing for systems
• Provide regular updates on project status
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
• Eligible for EIT registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• Minimum of 2 years telecom experience
• Understanding of applicable codes and standards
• Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills
