CADD Technologist

Position: CADD Technologist at Tetra Tech
Join Tetra Tech’s Transportation Airports team as a CADD Technologist in Calgary or Vancouver. Contribute to high-quality airport and civil infrastructure drawings while growing your skills in a collaborative environment.

This role supports the preparation of detailed design, tender, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. With a focus on precise deliverables for airport projects, you will enhance surface models, volumes, and technical assistance for project teams. Bring your experience in civil drafting to help ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design and construction drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Develop site plans, drainage layouts and construction details

• Complete digital terrain modeling and quantity takeoffs

• Support engineers and ensure compliance with deadlines

• Collaborate on multiple projects to enhance workflow

Requirements:

• 5 years of civil drafting or design experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Post-secondary technical program completion

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Experience with airport infrastructure is an asset
