In this role, you will engage in mission design and operations, focusing on trajectory analysis for Earth and lunar missions. Work alongside a diverse engineering team to tackle complex problems in high-pressure environments. Your contributions will directly support critical missions, enhancing Rocket Lab's capability in launch services and spacecraft systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze spacecraft trajectories for mission success
• Conduct rendezvous planning and station-keeping analysis
• Provide launch window and delta-V budget analysis
• Collaborate with software and GNC teams for guidance optimization
• Produce trajectory products for mission readiness
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in mission design and flight dynamics
• Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and software tools
• Active Top Secret clearance essential
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory
