Transmission Line Design Engineer - Senior Level

In this position, your extensive background in transmission engineering and project management will be critical. You'll engage with both conceptual and detailed designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and codes. Mentorship of junior engineers will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as will close collaboration with various engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret codes and client needs for design criteria
• Supervise PLS-CADD / TOWER / POLE model production
• Create detailed scopes of work and specifications
• Lead project capital development activities
• Collaborate in technical meetings with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Electrical engineering required
• Current Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license
• At least 8 years in transmission systems engineering
• Familiarity with CEC, CSA, IEEE standards
• Excellent communication skills and valid driver's license
