Senior Process Engineer Oil Refining

Seeking a Senior Process Engineer with expertise in oil refining to join our Alberta team in a hybrid setting. Lead complex engineering projects while mentoring junior talent and engaging clients.

This permanent or contract position is ideal for a technically adept engineer with at least 10 years of experience. You will guide the design and execution of oil refining and process facility projects, along with supporting proposal preparations and client presentations. Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential as you influence key project decisions throughout various phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering activities for oil refining and utility projects

• Develop comprehensive process design packages and simulations

• Provide mentorship and quality reviews for junior engineers

• Support project planning and client engagement

• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

• P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration

• Minimum 10 years in oil refining and hydrocarbon processing

• Strong knowledge of distillation, cracking, and hydrotreating

• Proficiency in process simulation software
