Junior CAD Designer

Join CIMA+ as a Junior CAD Designer focused on land development in Calgary, Alberta. Contribute to impactful civil projects while enjoying a flexible hybrid work model.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior/Intermediate CAD Designer to work within CIMA+’s Infrastructure team. You will draft Civil 3D drawings for municipal projects, including roads and utility layouts. Collaboration with engineers and technologists ensures that every project meets design standards for both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft civil works drawings for land development projects

• Create and modify CAD drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D

• Prepare grading plans and underground utility layouts

• Assist with stormwater modeling and analysis

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on project deliverables

Requirements:

• College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar

• Up to 8 years of experience in land development

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication skills in written and verbal forms
