Intermediate Mechanical Designer at Stantec

This role, based in Fredericton, offers the opportunity to join an integrated design team and tackle complex engineering challenges. Oversee design tasks with minimal supervision, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior members. You will focus on mechanical and piping system designs while growing your technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare contract drawings and construction sketches

• Collaborate with Mechanical team and clients

• Participate in project design teams effectively

• Communicate with team members and clients clearly

• Provide technical mentoring to Junior designers

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of industry experience

• Bilingual in French and English is an asset

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Technical degree in related field required

• Proficient in design software including AutoCAD and Solidworks
