Avionics and Structures Designer at DHC

We are seeking a motivated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least seven years of aeronautical structural design experience.

Your role will involve 3D design using Solid Works, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing design for aircraft modifications. Collaborate effectively with the engineering team and communicate clearly about your design choices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 3D design of structural modifications with Solid Works

• Create Model Based Definition and detailed structural drawings

• Ensure compliance with CAR, FAR, or CS regulations

• Optimize designs based on competing criteria

• Survey and review aircraft for optimal modification solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• Minimum seven years in aeronautical structural design

• Proficient in Solid Works and AutoCAD

• Strong technical judgment and initiative

• Willingness to travel as needed
