Airswift is seeking a Lead Piping Engineer in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, for a 1-year contract offering potential extensions. Your leadership will be vital in delivering piping engineering excellence.
As Lead Piping Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in leading piping projects, ensuring all engineering practices meet high-quality, safety, and compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving continuous improvement across all piping engineering practices. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as senior technical leader on various projects
• Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
• Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers
• Manage scheduling, resources, and budget adherence
• Address technical design and engineering challenges
Requirements:
• Significant experience in piping engineering
• Proven success on major capital projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of engineering software
