EHV Transmission Line Engineering Consultant

Lead engineering teams at Sargent & Lundy in hybrid EHV transmission line projects, specializing in 500kV and 765kV systems. Drive project success and expert collaboration while managing multidisciplinary teams.

This role offers the chance to oversee engineering designs alongside internal and external departments. As an experienced consultant, you will mentor team members and ensure projects meet specifications, codes, and client requirements. Your expertise in EHV transmission line design will provide critical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering teams for EHV transmission line projects

• Supervise and mentor team members through design execution

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications

• Perform independent reviews of engineering designs

• Prepare clear reports and communicate with stakeholders
Requirements:

• BS degree in Engineering or Management/Business

• 10+ years in Project Management for Utility Transmission

• 5+ years in 500kV and/or 765kV design

• Knowledge of NESC, IEC, and IEEE standards

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
