Kiewit Power Engineering is seeking several Mid to Senior Level Structural Designers to join its expanding Calgary team. Ideal candidates will possess 4+ years of structural design experience, particularly with foundation and steel design. You will work closely with design engineers and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality outputs and continuous improvement of design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate project information with design team members
• Review designs for safety and operability concerns
• Report task progress to the Lead Designer
• Develop BIM models for foundations and steel structures
• Mentor junior designers and improve departmental tools
Requirements:
• Technical school degree in Computer Aided Design with BIM focus
• 4+ years of structural design experience
• Tekla experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for team interaction
• Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering documents
