Municipal Project Engineer / Manager in Calgary. Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and land development projects for public and private clients in Southern Alberta and the Canadian Rockies.

• Lead planning, design, and execution of municipal projects.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through all design phases, ensuring excellence and innovation.
• Grow and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with municipal, utility, and regulatory agencies on approvals.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, scope, and quality to achieve predictable outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction.
• Mentor emerging professionals in Calgary municipal design practice.
• Contribute to proposal development, including scope, fee, and RFP strategy.

• 10‑15+ years of municipal infrastructure project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and active P.Eng. designation in Alberta.
• Proven capability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of Alberta municipal permitting pathways and standards; exposure to mountain‑region projects is an asset.
• Experience designing water, sanitary, stormwater, and roadway systems.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and readiness to support site‑based work.

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 – $162,800
• MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400
• NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 – $147,400

The final salary awarded may vary from the above range based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs. The wage range may be subject to change for business purposes.
