Stantec’s Energy and Resources team is seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Designer. In this role, you will develop and coordinate mechanical modeling for both large-scale and specific projects within the mining industry. You'll work closely with engineers, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high standards in mechanical documents and designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create complete design and documentation packages

• Coordinate with design teams to facilitate project needs

• Participate in model and drawing review sessions

• Lead design efforts in 2D and 3D environments

• Assist in material estimation for project procurement
Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design

• Strong background in mining facilities engineering

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Inventor

• Effective communicator in team settings

• Prepared for field inspections and reviews
