Structural Design Lead - Rail & Transit

In this critical role, you will focus on structural design for bridges, tunnels, and retaining walls. You will lead a team in producing key engineering documents and manage various aspects of design projects.

Your role requires a hands-on approach to ensure accuracy and efficiency, guiding projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design projects for freight and passenger rail

• Perform technical assessments of existing structures

• Prepare comprehensive design packages and proposals

• Coordinate with inspection teams and other disciplines

• Manage project budgets and client relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Over 10 years of relevant design experience

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Alberta, or BC

• Strong mentoring and leadership skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
