As a Mechanical Designer at Scott Springfield by Modine, you will be crucial in creating HVAC equipment that meets performance and serviceability standards. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will leverage your engineering principles to produce high-quality air handling designs.

Your role requires coordination with multiple teams to ensure project success within set budget and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical equipment ensuring performance and serviceability

• Draft using 3D software - IronCAD, converting AutoCAD designs

• Liaise with Electrical Designers for design conformity

• Create customer submittals and documentation

• Research and apply relevant codes and standards

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or technical diploma with APEGA/APSET eligibility

• Solid understanding of engineering principles

• Experience in refrigeration design is a plus

• Keen attention to detail and multitasking abilities

• Strong organizational skills and budget adherence
