Senior Mechanical Designer

Position: Senior Mechanical Designer at BEUMER Group
Drive innovation at BEUMER Group as a Senior Mechanical Designer, focusing on mechanical layout and detailed design for material handling systems. This role covers the entire project lifecycle from conceptual design through to commissioning.

As a senior contributor in engineering, you will excel in developing high-quality layouts and detailed designs specifically for bulk material handling and conveyor systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards while supporting procurement and installation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute mechanical design in line with engineering principles

• Develop assembly and fabrication drawings for conveyors

• Create high-quality, constructible drawings from engineering criteria

• Collaborate with engineers to resolve interface challenges

• Support internal design reviews and engineering checks

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology

• 10+ years as a Mechanical Designer in relevant sectors

• Expertise in conveyor system design and layout

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
