Ayrton Energy seeks a Mechatronics Engineer to join their passionate team in Calgary. This role focuses on designing and implementing control systems for hydrogen technology, offering hands-on involvement in prototype testing and system integration. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance product reliability and safety while troubleshooting instrumentation and controls challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design control systems for LOHC technology platforms

• Source and evaluate electrical and instrumentation components

• Integrate control systems into prototype equipment

• Generate essential design documentation for projects

• Support hazard reviews and implement safety procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years designing and testing mechatronic systems

• Hands-on controls development and integration experience

• Solidworks CAD proficiency and GD&T familiarity

• Eligible for Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation
