Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate Piping Stress Engineer to complement our Mechanical Engineering team in Calgary. You will utilize advanced analytical and engineering skills to conduct static and dynamic stress analysis of piping systems across various facilities. Key responsibilities include preparing technical reports, maintaining project budgets, and engaging with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform stress analysis of piping for refineries and pipelines
• Complete piping flexibility assessments and design supports
• Prepare stress deliverables such as calculations and reports
• Collaborate with engineering teams on project execution
• Conduct site visits and client meetings as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• 5+ years of piping stress analysis experience
• Proficient with CAESAR II or AutoPIPE software
• Registered or eligible for Professional Engineer in Alberta
• Strong knowledge of ASME, CSA, and industry codes
