Vancouver Senior Highway Engineer

Position: Vancouver Senior Highway Engineer Role
HDR seeks a Senior Highway Engineer in Vancouver, BC to design impactful roadways and transit systems. Your expertise will support the development of efficient infrastructure in British Columbia.

As part of HDR's Transportation Business Group, you will be tasked with major design projects and will guide teams in addressing transportation challenges. Candidates must have a professional engineering license and at least a decade of experience in roadway design.

Your role will significantly impact public safety and community connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design projects primarily in British Columbia

• Conduct quality checks on transportation projects

• Act as a technical expert on highway and roadway design

• Support project management duties as necessary

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project designs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 10 years of roadway engineering experience

• Required P.Eng or PE professional engineering license

• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
