Geoscientist - In Situ Development Role

Suncor is seeking an experienced Specialist Geoscientist to join our In Situ Development team. This role is available for intermediate or senior candidates with a minimum of 12 years in geoscience and direct SAGD drilling experience. You will be instrumental in pad planning, well execution, and optimizing brownfield operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support SAGD well planning and operations execution

• Act as geoscience liaison for drilling activities

• Collaborate with field personnel on-site during drilling

• Conduct resource evaluations for future projects

• Identify geological risks and opportunities for teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Geology or related field

• Eligibility for APEGA P.Geo. registration

• Minimum 12 years in oil and gas In Situ development

• Experience with Petrel for geoscience modeling

• Strong analytical and communication skills
