Intermediate Stormwater ​/ Water Resources Engineer

Your mission

MPE / Englobe is currently seeking a Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This position requires an Intermediate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. MPE is recognized as an industry leader in traditional stormwater system design and Low Impact Development (LID) practices. Does this sound like the right fit for you?

• Lead and support the design of greenfield and retrofit stormwater management systems.
• Model existing and future systems using tools such as PCSWMM and HEC-RAS.
• Develop stormwater management planning documents at various detail levels.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Eligibility for registration with APEGA.
• P.Eng. certification is considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stormwater/water resources engineering.
• PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and other related modelling software experience is considered an asset.
• Understanding of local regulatory requirements pertaining to stormwater.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
