Position: Lassonde Automation Control Specialist
Elevate automated production systems as an Automation Control Specialist at Lassonde in Calgary, Alberta. Optimize control processes, collaborate closely with teams, and enhance equipment efficiency.

This full-time role demands strong expertise in maintaining and improving control systems. You will work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure operational reliability. Key responsibilities involve programming PLCs, tune PID loops, and integrating automation with MES/ERP platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems

• Implement control logic for packaging lines and conveyors

• Calibrate field instruments for process reliability

• Troubleshoot PLC/HMI issues to minimize downtime

• Collaborate with engineers on optimization projects

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in relevant engineering field

• 3 to 5 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing

• Proven knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Factory Talk systems

• Certifications from recognized automation bodies preferred

• Forklift operation experience required
