In this pivotal position, you will report directly to the Vice President of Development and lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to optimizing resource assets. Your responsibilities include collaboration on reservoir modeling, production strategies, and advancements in field operations, ensuring high-performance engineering practices across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a collaborative engineering team
• Drive production forecasting and well design optimization
• Oversee reservoir simulation model development
• Represent the company in industry technical forums
• Manage regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
Requirements:
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta
• Minimum 10 years of upstream energy engineering experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience in technical teams
• Strong background in subsurface and production engineering
• Experience with unconventional resources or EOR technologies
Excel in leadership, subsurface expertise, and production optimization to enhance asset value in the energy sector.
