This position supports Worley Consulting’s Autonomous Mining & Technology initiatives by providing high-quality technical solutions, documentation, analytical support, and coordination across Mine Automation & Technology projects, across Canada, the ., and South American clients.
Purpose
The Underground Mining Automation & Autonomous Systems Engineer provides technical engineering expertise and consulting support for automation and autonomous systems in underground mining operations. The role supports clients through technology assessments, frontend studies, system definition, and project execution related to automation‑ and autonomy‑enabled underground mining environments.
This position requires hands‑on underground mining experience with strong understanding of automation, control systems, and digital mining technologies, delivering robust, reliable, secure fit‑for‑purpose solutions that improve safety, reliability, productivity, and operational readiness of underground operations.
