This role is for students enrolled in Engineering programs at Canadian universities, specifically those with a focus on Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering. As a Process Technology Co-op Student, you will work closely with the Process Technology Group, examining data, conducting mechanical testing, and coordinating with the QA department to address non-conformance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and evaluate process data for non-conforming conditions
• Collaborate with QA to respond to product non-conformances
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Manage collapse testing for Red Deer facility
• Conduct on-site data collection and process analyses
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year in a recognized Engineering program
• Preference for Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering students
• Knowledge of statics and material strength principles
• Familiarity with steel manufacturing processes is a plus
• Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail
