Electrical Field Technologist Co-op

Magna IV Engineering is seeking an Electrical Field Technologist Co-op Student in Calgary, AB for Fall 2026. This 4-month placement involves working with electrical systems and delivering exceptional client experiences.

As a co-op student enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Technologist program, you will be contributing to various field projects focusing on commissioning, repair, and maintenance of power equipment. Collaborate effectively with project teams and ensure the completion of technical reports to enhance client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on low to high voltage electrical systems safely

• Commission, repair, and maintain power equipment

• Utilize test and troubleshooting equipment confidently

• Collaborate intensively with project teams

• Compose technical reports and follow up with clients

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering Technology diploma

• Field experience with power delivery equipment preferred

• Knowledge of commercial and industrial environments is beneficial

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver’s license with good standing
