HYREON Talent Solutions is expanding its team of experts in utility interconnection and grid strategy across Canada. In this position, you will handle interconnection for substantial loads, ensuring compliance with evolving utility frameworks. You'll manage study milestones, scope upgrades, and engage with various stakeholders, making this an essential role in energy and data centre sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage interconnection processes for loads over 50MW

• Oversee applicable studies including system impact and facilities

• Design large-load tariffs and demand charge structures

• Collaborate with utilities, regulators, and market operators

• Navigate capacity-constrained allocation jurisdictions
Requirements:

• Proven experience in securing large-load interconnections

• Familiarity with transmission-service and distribution-service studies

• Strong understanding of tariff design and rate structures

• Effective engagement with cross-functional teams

• Background working in competitive energy markets
