Avmax is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student to join our Engineering team. Enrolled in a recognized Canadian university engineering program, you will assist in developing aftermarket modifications for various aircraft. This 12-month term offers comprehensive exposure to design principles, engineering procedures, and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in applying design principles for aircraft modifications

• Build and revise CAD drawings for manufacturing needs

• Produce and update detailed drawings for aircraft components

• Define manufacturing requirements as per company protocols

• Support airworthiness tasks and provide customer support

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a recognized Canadian University Engineering Program

• Experience with AutoCAD or Solid Works software

• Completed at least one materials and one engineering design course

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Demonstrable ability to follow direction effectively
