Shape the future of tailings management with AECOM as an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer. Lead projects focused on tailings dam design and mentorship in a collaborative environment.
This role entails ensuring technical excellence and compliance with legal standards in tailings management across Canada. With at least 6 years of industry experience, you will leverage your expertise in design and analysis while mentoring junior engineers. Your contributions will emphasize sustainability and high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage the construction of tailings dams
• Conduct vital geotechnical analyses and evaluations
• Prepare and review essential engineering documents
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their development
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
• 6+ years in geotechnical engineering and dam design
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility within 3 months
• Hands-on experience as a Deputy Engineer of Record
• Proficiency with numerical modeling techniques
